About

I am a painter and create my work by focusing on non-objective colors, compositions, and surreal subjects.

Born and raised in Montana, I reflect on my life through the art that I create as a form of escapism. I am currently in the undergraduate program for a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts as well as a minor in small business and entrepreneurship at Montana State University.

My artwork is heavily influenced by personal struggle and escapism. My artistic practice focuses on experimenting with oil paint to create two-dimensional works that blend impressionism and realism. Color is a central theme, where I use vibrant colors to enhance emotional depth by emphasizing and modifying elements to evoke specific feelings. Influenced by personal experiences—such as growing up in Montana, political views, mental health, and childhood memories—these aspects inform my subject matter and color choices, adding depth and relatability. This integration allows me to create art that resonates emotionally with viewers, reflecting both personal perspectives and universal themes.
